Dumbbell Side Bends

Begin this exercise from the standing position. Grasp a dumbbell with your right hand. Stand with your feet approximately 1.5 - 2.0 feet apart. Place your left arm above your head to enhance the stretch to your left oblique muscles. With the dumbbell in your right hand bend to your right untill the dumbbell you are holding is at the height of your right knee or as far as is comfortable to you. Then, straighten back up to the starting position but don't stop here. Continue bending to the left an for additional 12 inches. Complete the prescribed number of repetitions for both sides of your obliques. This would be 1 set. Continue until all sets are completed!
