| Since the Vertical Chest Press exercise is performed on a machine it is best if you follow the manufacturers specific recommendations that should be located on an informational placard on the machine. You will be asked to make adjustments in the seat height and the depth at which the handles are allowed to come back towards your body. As with any exercise, perform the movement smoothly and at the tempo guidelines recommended on your workout. Remember to exhale as you push the weight out and inhale as you lower the weight back down towards your body. |
