Adjust the height of the platform so that the axis of rotation on the machine is even with your hips. If you are staring with your right leg, the resistance arm of the machine should be facing should be facing toward your left as you face the machine. Start by placing your right leg over the top of the pad. The pad should rest behind your knee on the very lowest portion of your hamstring. You should now turn so that the right side of your body is towards the machine. Stand tall and drive your knee down and backward following the arcing pattern of the apparatus.
