The Question:

I recently broke my hand. What exercises, etc. can I do to maintain my muscle mass and keep my bodyfat low?

The Answer:

If you have access to a gym that has a full line of exercise equipment you should be fine. While it may be difficult to grasp and hold a barbell or dumbbell, many times you will be able to adjust your hand so that it is not painful or detrimental. Some machines are actually built for using your forearms to lift the weight. Don’t forget that you can exchange the exercises in your program for machine based versions. Give it a shot.

Also, remember that you can still train your other arm and your legs. Do this along with 45 minutes of cardio five days per week and eating properly, and you will be in shape!
