The Question:

Dan, can you tell me if it is O.K. to take a fat burner and weight gainer at the same time? I am 20 years old and I use your football workout 4 days a week . I want to lose fat, but gain muscle pounds. Please tell me what to do.

The Answer:

Very interesting question. If, by weight gainer you are talking about a real weight gainer that has 900 calories per serving than taking a weight gainer and a fat burner would definitely be counter productive. However, if you, like many people, think that a weight gainer is the same as a Met-Rx or a Myoplex than this type of “muscle” weight gainer along with a fat burner would be ok. Remember though, I don't recommend a fat burner for constant use. You need to cycle these fat burners especially if they have caffeine, ephedrine, or some other herbal stimulant. You are young! Just watch your diet and train hard and you will be fine!
