The Question:

In reading many articles I have found I am not getting enough protein in my diet. I am tring to gain muscle mass. My questions are: Where is a good place (preferably on the net) to find a chart that tells how much protein different foods have? Also, I take amino acids (Pro-performance Amino Gold 1000, 3 tabs a day) how many grams of protein does this tabulate into, so I can better track my protein intake?

The Answer:

You can actually click on this address and towards the end of my article you will see something that says "searchable data base". Click on this and you can find out how much protein almost any food in the world has! Here is the address.

I could not find the Pro-performance Amino Gold 1000 tabs anywhere! This may help however. 1000 miligrams equals 1 gram. If each amino acid tablet has 1000 miligrams of branch chain amino acids then it has 1 gram of protein.
